Resolution Rush 5K/10K

Join us on February 21 for the Resolution Rush 5K and 10K in Hickory Flat, Georgia and keep your New Year’s Resolutions going!  The 5K starts at 8:00 am followed by the 10K at 8:30 am.  Registration begins at 7:00 am at Anytime Fitness located at 2870 E. Cherokee Drive in Canton.  Registration is $25 from now until race day.  Runners will receive moisture wicking technical t-shirts, and plenty of food and fluids after the race.   Awards will be given to the Male and Female Open and Masters and Grandmasters and the top 3 finishers in each of 14 age groups from 10 and under to 70 and over.  To register go to www.active.com.

Run at Night for Sight 5K

Join us for fun and excitement on February 27 at the Run at Night for Sight 5K in Carrollton, Georgia.  The 5k starts at 7:00 pm, the tot trot starts at 8:00 pm (tot trot is free-no shirt, 5 & under), and the 1-mile fun run starts at 7:45 pm.  The start is at Lions Club Safari Park at the corner of North Park St. & Spring St. in Carrollton.  Registration is $20 preregistered by Monday, 2/22 and $25 after 2/22 and on race day.  The proceeds go to the visually impaired!  Each registered runner will receive a colorful 100% cotton short-sleeve t-shirt and plenty of food and fluids after the race.  There is also a playground (handicap accessible) for the kids!  Awards will be given to the Male and Female Open and Masters and also to the top 3 finishers in each of 14 age groups from 10 & under to 70 & over.  Awards will be given to all 1 mile and tot trot finishers.  To register online click here.

A Step at a Time 5K/10K, 1 mile fun run, and tot trot

Please join us for the 8th annual A Step at a Time road race to benefit the Carroll County Emergency Shelter seeking to conquer domestic violence “a step at a time”.  Help us display our hope in the fight against domestic violence.  Wear anything YELLOW and get a prize!  The race will serve as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier!  The tot trot and mile fun run will start at 2:00 pm and the 5K/10K will start at 2:15 pm.  For the 5K/10K/Fun Run the entry fee is $15 and must be received by 2/19/10 and the Race Day registration is $20.  All pre-registered 5K/10K and 1 mile participants will receive a t-shirt.  A limited number of shirts will be available for race day registrants!  Race day registration begins at 1:00 pm. This race will be located at East Carrolton Recreation Center 410 North Lake Drive Carrollton, GA. Ribbons will be given to all fun run and tot trot finishers.  5K and 10K winners will be the top male and female overall, top male and female masters, and the top 3 male and female from the 14 age groups from 11-14 to 75 & over.  Food and Liquids will be provided at the finish.  To register go to www.active.com.

Chattahoochee Road Runners 10K, 5K, and 2K

Join us for the fastest qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race!  The 5K starts at 8:00 am, the 10K at 8:30 am, the 2k at 8:40 am, 5K awards at 8:45 am, 10K awards at 9:30 am.  Online registration is $25 at www.georgiarunner.com thru 2/28/10 and $30 from 3/1/10 thru 3/4/10.  It is $25 by mail postmarked by 2/28/10, $30 for late registration applies to 3/1/10 thru 3/4/10.  In local area running stores it is $25 beginning on 2//4/10 thru 2/28/10 and $30 from 3/1/10 thru 3/4/10.  It is $35 final late last chance registration Friday 3/5/10 from 10:00 am- 7:00 pm at Heritage Sandy Springs.  No race day registration will be provided and no refunds.  The race runs rain or shine!  All post-race activities will take place at Sandy Springs Amphitheater after the race including t-shirts and awards.  Improved premium short-sleeve technical (moisture wicking) shirts will be given to the participants. 

Cash prizes will be given for the 10K ONLY for the top 5 male/female overall- $500, $300, $200, $100, and $50.  Top 3 male/female masters overall will receive $200, $100, and $50.  Top 2 male/female grand-masters will be $100 and $50 (only one cash prize per person).  Other awards will be given to the top three runners in each of the 15 age groups from 10 & under to 75 & over.

Jog for a Cause 5K, 10K, and 1 mile

 Come join us for the Jog for a Cause Road Race, one of many qualifiers for the Peachtree Road Race.  This race is located in Northpoint Village Shopping Center (New Balance/Crate & Barrel/Jason’s Deli location) 7300 North Point Parkway Alpharetta, Georgia.  It is $20 if received by 3/6/10, $25 after 3/6/0\10 and race day, and $20 for 1-mile fun run.  All registered runner will receive quality, moisture-wicking technical t-shirts and plenty of food and fluids after the race.  5K and 10K awards will be given to the male and female open and masters .winners. Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in each of the 14 age groups from 10 & under to 70 & over.  1 mile finishers will all receive ribbons.  Awards will be given to the top fundraisers!  To register go to

Hoya & The Hare

Come join us for the 8th annual Hoya and The Hare 1 mile fun run and 5K.  This is an event for the whole family!  Several Races combined with live music performed by the Harrison Drum line at the turnaround point and Harrison Jazz musicians at the finish line.  This event will be taken place at the Harrison High School stadium located in the heart of West Cobb.  All participants will receive a 100% cotton multi-colored race shirt and will be given the size indicated on the race application.  All net proceeds benefit nationally award winning Harrison band program.  Awards will be given to the top male and female overall- top male and female masters- and top 3 males and female in various age groups from 10 & under to 75 & older.  The 1 mile fun run starts at 8:00 am and the 5K starts at 8:30 am.  To register go to www,active.com.

ShamRock ‘N Roll Road Race

Come join us for the ShamRock ‘N Roll 5K, 10K, and Kilt run.  The 5k starts at 8:00 am and the 10K at 8:30 am.  All proceeds support the work of The Junior League of Atlanta and partners.  All participants will receive technical moisture- wicking races t-shirts.  There will be door prizes, music, entertainment, food, and fun!  The will be the most adored DOWNHILL FINISH!  Dogs and strollers are welcome.  Awards will be given out to the top 3 men and women finishers in 15 age groups, overall male and female and masters male and female in each race.  Discounted race entry for teams of 20 or more!
