You see, the old me is wearing down.

I believe it started at the 2004 Western States Endurance Run. I intentionally dropped out of the race at 62 miles after following the ill-fated advice of another who mentioned to me that the course was “runnable.” I ran, alright. I ran myself right into the ground.
